Real-time AI translation

A latest-generation AI translation model renders the speaker into dozens of languages in real time. No booths, no interpreter scheduling, and a fraction of the usual cost — but not for every event.

About the service

What the service includes

The principle is simple: we take the audio directly from the event mixing desk, the model translates it in real time, and delegates listen to their chosen language on their own phone with headphones, or on one of our receivers. The translation runs a few seconds behind the speaker. No booths and no extra floor space required.

Let's be straight about what AI does not do. A human interpreter filters: they drop what does not need translating, quietly repair a speaker's slip, read subtext and irony, and adapt to the room. AI translates ruthlessly everything it hears in the microphone — including what the speaker did not mean to say. That is why, for the listener, a human interpreter almost always feels more comfortable.

What AI has that no interpreting team can match: it does not care that the speaker is talking too fast, and it serves 70 languages as easily as 3. We offer both and will tell you which fits your event — often the best answer is both together.

  • Translation into up to 70 languages at once
  • Audio taken directly from the event mixing desk
  • Delegate access by phone via a QR code
  • Our own receivers and headsets for anyone who prefers not to use a phone
  • Live translated text (captions) on screen or on the phone
  • A full transcript of the event afterwards
  • A technician managing the audio chain and the connections
  • A test run with your speaker before the event

Choosing

Which one to choose

Choose human interpreters when

Every nuance matters and a mistake is expensive.

  • Negotiations and contract discussions
  • Legal, medical or financial subject matter
  • High-level guests and official visits
  • Press conferences and public statements
  • A small, demanding audience
  • When the event is recorded and quoted

Choose AI translation when

Many languages, a limited budget, and informational content.

  • You need more languages than booths allow
  • Internal training, webinars, presentations
  • Large hybrid events with an international audience
  • Informational sessions and parallel conference tracks
  • A limited budget
  • A booking made at short notice

Important

Why it matters who runs the microphone

AI translates exactly what it hears — and nothing more. If the microphone pickup is poor, if the room echoes, if two people talk at once or the speaker drifts away from the mic, the translation degrades immediately. No model quality compensates for that.

So AI translation is not an app you switch on and walk away from. It is an audio job: we take the feed from the desk rather than from the air in the room, sort out microphone discipline with the speakers, and watch the chain throughout the event. That is what we do every day.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will AI replace interpreters?

Not everywhere. For informational events with many languages it is often the smarter choice; for negotiations or a press conference we will still recommend a human interpreter. We will tell you straight which fits your case — even when that is the more expensive option.

How do delegates listen?

They scan a QR code with their phone, pick a language and listen through their own headphones. For anyone who would rather not use a phone, we bring our own receivers and headsets.

How far behind is the translation?

A few seconds — the model waits briefly for context so the translation is more accurate. In a dialogue you notice it; in an informational talk you mostly do not.

Does it work with Lithuanian?

Yes, Lithuanian works both as the speaker's language and as a listening language.

Can interpreters and AI be combined at one event?

Yes, and it is often the best answer: human interpreters in booths for the main languages, AI channels for the rarer ones. Delegates see no difference when they connect.

Do we get the text afterwards?

Yes. You see the translated text live, and after the event we hand over a full transcript in the languages you choose.
